Intoxication Reveals Depth, Love Reveals Intensity

To truly appreciate the freshness of natural makeup, one must have worn a heavy layer of makeup. To recognize the quiet health of plain water, one must have consumed countless carbonated beverages. To understand the youthful spirit of canvas shoes, one must have worn high heels for a long time. To yearn for the tranquility of the countryside, one must have become accustomed to the noise of the city. To seize the right person in a moment, one must have missed many others.
Isn't this how it's always the case? When you've seen more, you know how to choose. Hu Shi's 'Dreams and Poems' contains two lines I particularly like: 'After drinking too much wine, one knows its richness; after loving, one knows the depth of affection.' Only those who have gotten drunk know how intoxicating wine can be, and only those who have loved know how profound emotion can be.
Similarly, we only need to love a few people, and experience a few failed romances, in order to know who is most suitable for us. Then, in this world of blossoming flowers, we can single out the one we can walk hand-in-hand with, even if it's a fleeting connection. We all need to miss several of the right people, and experience several heartbreaks, in order to know with whom we can walk hand-in-hand to the end, and to know what kind of life is most suitable for us.
We always need to drink a lot of strong liquor to realize that plain porridge is better in the morning. We always need to see a lot of scenery to know what we most yearn for within ourselves. We always need to fall down a lot of times to know which path is smoother. We always need to love a lot of old loves to know which one we truly love.
Before we met the person we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with, we just wanted to wander the world alone, to see this colorful world. But when we met that person who was willing to walk with us, we suddenly realized that the world was too vast, and we didn't want to go. We just stayed by each other's sides, and it was a happy life.

We should thank all the experiences we've had and all the people we've loved, even if there are many regrets. This is truly the real experience of life.
Regardless of whether we get what we want, we should be thankful. If we hadn't made those wrong choices in the first place, we wouldn't know what the right choice truly is.
We are destined to drink a lot of wine in this life, but I believe that in the end, we will only love one person. Because of this, we gradually became better people, with more mature minds, so we have a more confident choice for the future.
