One Yoga Pose: Flexible Spine & Open Shoulders, Simple and Effective
Spending all day in front of computers and phones can easily cause discomfort in the neck and shoulders. Today, I'm sharing a simple and practical yoga posture –Thread Posewhich can effectively relieve shoulder and neck discomfort, help open the shoulders and flex the spine.

Thread Pose, also known as Kneeling Spinal TwistAlthough the movement is simple, it has many benefits:
- Allowing the spine to fully twist and relax
- Relaxing the cervical spine, effectively relieving shoulder and neck pain
- Stretching the side waist and side ribs, opening the front of the shoulders
- Stimulating the shoulder blades and axillary area, promoting detoxification

How to practice Thread Pose?
- Kneel in a square, draw your feet back into a hook shape, inhale and raise your right arm
- Exhale, let your right shoulder fall below your body, palm up
- Extend your left hand forward to stretch the side waist, pressing your side face to the ground
- Keep the hips fixed, open the chest to the left
- Hold for 5-8 breaths, practice on the other side
Thread Pose Precautions:
1, It is recommended to warm up before practicing, such as practicing Cat Cow Pose, Melting Heart Pose to flex the spine, then enter the pose.

2, Beginners can choose the simple version, as long as it feels stretched is the best.

3, Because Thread Pose belongs to a closed twist, it is not recommended to practice during menstruation.

Simple movements, you can practice lying on the bed!
