If the trigger points of the latissimus dorsi are particularly active, the pain may also radiate to the inner side of the arm, all the way to the ulnar side (little finger) and the fourth and fifth fingers. The trigger points of the large round muscle and the latissimus dorsi limit the muscles from fully stretching, thus hindering the upward or forward extension of the arms. Latissimus dorsi pain may occur at night, which will affect sleep.
