16-Year-Old High School Student Gains 88 Pounds in a Year with 500 Eggs per Month and a 44cm Arm Circumference! Claims to Rarely Use Heavy Weights
Hello everyone, my name is Li Ge Ci, I am 16 years old and a high school sophomore. I started fitness because I was short and thin, and I liked to exercise and enjoy physical education. So I wanted to get stronger and not be rejected by my classmates. My parents initially opposed me from exercising, thinking it would damage my body and stunt my growth. Later, after months of pleading from me, they finally gave me a gym card on November 17th. This marked the beginning of my fitness journey. Initially, my family also opposed my diet, believing I could only eat 1-2 eggs a day and couldn't eat a lot of meat. I was scolded if I ate too many eggs or meat. Later, I bought eggs myself and ate them outside, and my parents stopped scolding me as I got a better physique. (Fitness for 3 months) The first time I used protein powder, I boiled it with hot water, but the protein powder clumped together completely. I even forced myself to swallow it. I still remember a time when I was about to take a final exam and didn't have time to go to the gym, so I wrapped the books I didn't need with glue and sat in the back row of the classroom to do bicep curls. Before fitness, I was very thin, only 48kg. Fitness has significantly changed my physique and health: I have become much stronger (at my strongest, 92kg), and I rarely get sick. Fitness also changed my habit of playing online games and eating junk food. The first time I competed was in August of this year. Although I didn't make it to the top 6, I was still very happy. On the field, I met a fellow competitor who was equally my age and trained very well and was also very modest. I've always trained with moderate weights (8-12RM), ignoring the capacity and focusing on total training volume, so I don't have talent, I just work harder than others. Now I'm in off-season and eat normally, ensuring sufficient nutrition, which is conducive to muscle gain. I now eat 16 eggs (protein) every day, 8 in the morning and 8 in the evening. The best part is still not fully satisfied. I'm most dissatisfied with my chest. There's still room for improvement overall. Many beginners think that muscle gain can be excessive eating, which is not the case. Muscle gain also requires clean eating and calorie control. Small, frequent meals are best. I eat 10-12 meals a day, remembering what Terry Teacher said. The real competition is in the off-season. The off-season requires stricter diet control and serious training. As for me, I'll just be a happy fat guy during the off-season! I'm very lucky to have met a good teacher, who can help you avoid many detours. Work in the right direction. I am very lucky to have met Sister Hua Mu Lan, who is a great inspiration. There's still a long way to go. Everything is just beginning now. Young people, let's go!
