The Long-billed Broadbill is a tropical forest-dwelling bird, commonly found in tropical evergreen broadleaf forests below an altitude of 2000 meters, often forming groups of ten or twenty to forage; they are often still and rest on shrubs or small trees in the shade of the forest, they are not good at trilling and jumping.
