Nanchang Hometown Travelogue (2): Changes at Jialing Dragon Spring – Is it Still Your Hometown?
Nanchang Hometown TravelogueWalking Through Nanchangas original series works recording Nanchang's hometown, through text and images, videos, and other forms, using down-to-earth methods to spread the hometown's history and culture, scenic landscapes, with the purpose of inspiring more people to love and build their hometown. Let's all come to love Nanchang!

Some friends might think Nanchang's scenery isn't as impressive as famous mountains and rivers; its attractions aren't as grand or ancient as those in other places. From a broader perspective, the vast lands of our country are worthy of pride and love by all descendants of the Yellow Emperor. Rural landscapes are also worth praising. Children don't dislike their mothers' appearance, and dogs don't abandon their homes. The charm of rural and countryside areas is different, big cities have their advantages, and Nanchang's hometown has its own unique beauty. It combines both ambition and hometown feelings, which is even better!

Continuing to share Nanchang Hometown Travelogue, the previous episode recorded the changes at Seven Pagodas Temple, this episode will share Longquan. Along the road built between Seven Pagodas Temple and Jinbao, a few minutes' drive takes you to Longquan. The old road was bumpy and uneven, but now it's smooth and convenient.

Based on our feelings, Longquan has three major changes: 1. On October 29, 2019, the Sichuan Provincial People's Government issued a notice approving Nanchang City's adjustment of the administrative divisions of several towns (streets and districts) within the GaoPing District (20197). This notice canceled Longquan Town and incorporated its area into the jurisdiction of Seven Pagodas Temple Town. 2. The road connecting Longquan to Jinbao and Seven Pagodas Temple has been newly built and directly connects to the highway toll station. 3. Longquan Street has undergone unified renovation, resulting in a completely new and refreshed street appearance. Of course, Longquan still has other developments and changes. Welcome friends to leave comments and exchanges.

Longquan is the hometown of many revolutionary heroes. The revolutionary hero and political figure Ren He Guo was also a native of Longquan. Longquan has a long history and a rich cultural heritage. The ancient banyan trees and stone bridges on the street witnessed the vicissitudes of Longquan's history. The current Longquan Street is full of high-rise buildings, but only one opera house and a few old houses are still preserved, showcasing its former glory. We wish Longquan to develop even better, and people's lives to be happier.
