Jingchuan County Tiaojigu Ecological Scenic Area is located in the northern part of the county, 3 kilometers from the county seat. The scenic area has a total planned area of 28 square kilometers, with a completed main scenic area of 7.5 square kilometers. It is an ecological and scenic landscape with water and soil conservation, combined with human landscape and leisure entertainment, integrating ecological tourism, cultural display, and leisure health care, established by the Jingchuan County Water Conservation Bureau based on water and soil conservation ecological demonstration.

The scenic area has been operating since April 2004 and has been awarded titles such as ‘National Water Conservation Scenic Area’, ‘National First Batch of Water and Soil Conservation Technology Demonstration Park’, ‘National AAAA-Level Tourist Scenic Area’, ‘First Batch of National Primary and Secondary School Water and Soil Conservation Educational Practice Base’, and ‘Gansu Province Science Popularization Demonstration Base’.

The scenic area has two natural landscapes, including the 100-million-year geological structure layers and the thousand-year earth arrow group. There are also five leisure and service venues such as manor-style villas, East folk kiln houses, pastoral mansions, Wangjia Zhuang, and tea houses. There are also 13 cultural and leisure entertainment venues, including an entertainment square, Dragon King Temple, and fishing center. There are also over 20 landscape gardens, pavilions, and towers. It offers a variety of projects such as sightseeing, fishing, boating, animal observation, plant identification, and technology demonstration.
