Enjoy the beauty of Xiongzhou at the flowering season.
Xiongzhou Town leverages its resources of 1.5 (15,000 mu) of pear trees in Ma Tie Wan, Chang Zhuang, and Dong Zhuang, the South Ma Zhuang Chrysanthemum Garden, and its millennium-old cultural heritage to develop the Xiong Guan Yi Dao • Ancient Di River Tourism Scenic Area. Visitors can enjoy pear blossoms, walk the ancient road, explore the chrysanthemum garden, and experience the beauty of Xiongzhou.

To scientifically protect and rationally develop the chrysanthemum and pear garden landscape route, adhering to the principle of ‘doing more with less,’ Xiongzhou Town carefully considered the current situation of the scenic area, overcame all difficulties, raised funds from multiple sources, and mobilized community forces to implement construction according to the scenic area planning.

According to the overall planning of the scenic area, firstly, infrastructure will be improved. The 318 Canal will be cleared, brick roads will be laid with sluice gates for water diversion; a visitor service center will be set up; the embankment top road and health walking path will be paved; a 6-meter wooden viewing platform will be constructed; Party building square, leisure square and Yueshan Square will be built; the 'Flowers into Water' miniature landscape will be constructed; the chrysanthemum and pear garden parking lots will be renovated. Secondly, ancient sites and non-material cultural heritage will be excavated. Thirdly, the scenic area project will be endowed with cultural connotations.

The Chrysanthemum Garden is located in West Ma Zhuang Village, South of Xiongzhou Town, adjacent to the Pear Garden, covering an area of 300 acres. Currently, there are more than 10 (100,000) plants of flowers and trees, 280 varieties of chrysanthemums. The chrysanthemum garden is nestled among the forests and lakes, with fresh air and beautiful scenery. Surrounding green forests, the winding path in the garden, with landscape design, depicting dragons, phoenixes, birds or beasts, each one perfectly crafted. Hundreds of thousands of chrysanthemums bloom in a splendid competition, blooming in harmony with the hanging fruit of the pear garden. Spring, autumn, and all seasons are suitable for viewing.

Currently, most of the hardware facilities of the Pear Bay scenic area have been completed, and the final touches are being made. Once the flowers are in full bloom, we sincerely invite friends from all over the world to participate in the Pear Blossom Festival, enjoy pear blossoms, listen to ancient music, watch martial arts performances, and explore the ancient city!
