What Have You Understood After Facing Death?
I believe this world exists because of me; everything – all people and things – is merely a hallucination created to accompany my appearance. If I were to die, this world would cease to exist for me.
There's no need to perform for anyone. For you, everyone is simply a passerby in your life. You are the true protagonist, so don't concern yourself with the opinions and feelings of others. Cherish your life, live a glorious and fulfilling one, and earnestly pursue the things you want to do, without wasting your precious time.
For human beings in this life, death means the end of life. However, it's simply a new starting point in the cycle of reincarnation.
Let go of concerns about life and death, and accept all things with a sense of detachment. Perhaps everything you're experiencing – joy or sorrow – is already predetermined by fate. All past experiences, like dreams, will fade away with the wind, and cannot be traced. So, why bother worrying about the gains and losses, glories and humiliations?
Flowers bloom and fade, clouds roll and disperse – these are natural laws that neither you nor I can change! Life is the same!
