79 Hubei Tourists Return Home: 'We'll Definitely Come Back Next Year'

Lijiang, on the 24th, 79 Hubei (Wuhan) tourists took off from Lijiang SanYi Airport at 10:45 AM by chartered flight, returning to their hometown. On the same day, at 8:30 AM, helpers assisted in loading luggage onto buses and prepared gift packages, with the lobby of the sightseeing hotel bustling early.
A gift package containing Nas traditional candied fruit, Lijiang wool fabric shawls, rose cakes, and barley cakes, as well as a box of Baiye Silverware and a consignment of Wensheng Pomelo, was prepared for the 79 tourists. The Huaweng family, consisting of 3 mothers and 3 children from Wuhan, had been stranded in Lijiang for 62 days. Huaweng said that the group of 6 people had booked an 8-day tour of the Dali-Lijiang route, arriving in Lijiang on January 21st. They subsequently remained stranded in Lijiang after returning fromLuhuguo Lakeon January 24th. After completing their observation quarantine, they often took the children to explore the old town. 'The children don't want to go back, they like Lijiang, especially after participating in the Lijiang's first tour group to Yulong Snow Mountain on March 22nd, they fell even more in love with Lijiang.'
Huaweng said that he had received much help and care during his stay in Lijiang, and he was deeply moved. 'Lijiang is a city with a strong sense of human sentiment. The people of Lijiang have become our family. I will definitely come back next year, bringing my lover and parents.'
It is reported that Lijiang City had set up 18 temporary resettlement hotels with 1850 rooms, accommodating a total of 800 Hubei tourists, of whom 548 were from Wuhan.
