Spring Passes, Autumn Returns: The Red Sour Plums of My Hometown's Hills

In Maoyatun Town, my hometown, if you were to ask which fruit tree is the most resilient, it would be the prickly ash. It grows wild without any care, blooms in the spring, and still bears fruit even without wind or rain. Raindrops hang on the fruits after the rain.

Picking them is not easy; thorns grow all over the branches, and you'll get pricked if you're not careful.
