A Fitness Enthusiast Shares a Glute & Leg Workout – How Many Can You Do?
Leeci Knight is a fitness fanatic and social media influencer with an inspiring transformation story. Leeci spent most of her childhood playing outdoors. However, in 2012, due to certain life changes, Leeci fell into an unhealthy eating cycle, including eating a lot of junk food and excessive drinking.

Training
In her transformation journey's first few months, Leeci tried different training methods, techniques, and exercises to find what worked best for her. Ultimately, Leeci discovered that training five times a week, each session approximately one hour, could increase her muscle mass and minimize body fat.
Regarding training intensity and volume, Leeci's goal was to maintain a strict state, performing the heaviest weight she could lift for 8-12 reps.
Cardio
In addition to her five-day a week weightlifting plan, Leeci did two to three cardio sessions on those days. Her favorite cardio exercises were HIIT, kettlebell swings, and marathon running.
Leeci's favorite body parts to train were her legs and glutes. She frequently performed the following exercises:
- Barbell Squats, 3 sets, 8-12 reps
- Jump Squats, 3 sets, 8-12 reps
- Lunges, 3 sets, 8-12 reps
- Glute Bridges, 3 sets, 8-12 reps
- Barbell Glute Bridges, 3 sets, 8-12 reps

Nutrition
Although Leeci recognized the importance of regular and consistent weight training, she said that nutrition was equally important for fitness. Her diet was based on foods rich in fiber, protein, and micronutrients, such as kale, Swiss chard, collard greens, lean meat, healthy oils, and nuts. For carbohydrates, Leeci ate quinoa, oats, brown rice, and yams.
Although Leeci often refrained from cheating, she sometimes rewarded her hard work by eating burgers or pizzas.
