Force Originates from the Spine – It's Not a Secret Anymore, the Answer Lies Here

The human body needs to be able to generate force better, at least it must possess several elements:

1. The hip must be able to stretch, not just a twist;

2. The back must be able to connect, the muscles and bones of the back form a separation state;

3. The shoulders must be able to clamp, if the shoulders are not clamped, the body's force will dissipate and cannot form a combined force. The premise is that the shoulders must be open!

How to achieve 'force from the spine'?

Everyone knows that 'a powerful punch doesn't require much effort' is because of the force generated by the fully stretched muscles. Many people told me that I am getting older, so it's not suitable to practice Heart Intent Fist. In fact, our training system adopts force generation from muscles and bones, and after mastering the method of generating force, we can easily complete the training without feeling exhausted. It doesn't exist that it's impossible to improve. However, if you're older, your muscles and bones become more hardened, and the force becomes more transparent. This is why some older practitioners and masters can still knock people out even in their twilight years!

Previously, we always said 'martial arts without practice is a waste of time', many people attributed this to practicing the dantian. But this is wrong. The dantian doesn't exist, it's just an imaginary concept. How can you practice it? The real thing we need to practice is your large muscle, joints and internal organs. The strength of these is your pride.

I think people who train muscles in gyms are the most diligent. Their muscle texture will change immediately if they don't train for a week, so they have to stick to training every week to maintain the original muscle quality. Practicing fist fighting is the most relaxing, because once the large muscle is fully opened, even eating with chopsticks or walking, you are using it. When you master the kung fu, you can still do it easily even if you don't practice for five years!

Practicing fist fighting is about returning to the instinctive state of animals, allowing our bodies to reach unprecedented levels in speed, power and sensitivity. To fight in actual combat, you need 'skill', but this doesn't require much. Just like tigers, lions, cats and dogs, their skills are just a few moves, relying on that innate agility. Heart Intent Fist says, 'the force rises from the body, the heavens and earth turn'. We ultimately aim to achieve a 'spirit'

During actual combat, we can generate a single bow, we can also generate multiple bows together, even multiple bows can generate a combined force, which can produce a powerful force. Of course, this requires the coordinated movement of hands and feet, the flexibility of the large spine, and the nerve reflex. 'Wake up four arms without fear, spirit rises from the body, the heavens and earth turn'.
