The Weight Loss Journey: The Scariest Thing Is Having Been Thin Before
01. "Fat friend, have you succeeded in losing weight? Or have you succeeded at some point?"
Tell me the truth, I have.
Before last year, my weight had been maintained between 104-107 pounds, always fluctuating within that range, which was really disheartening.
It was as if I had severed the connection with the word 'thin,' never having been complimented for being slim.
From December 2018 to February 2019, I lost interest in food and crazily liked exercise, plus a breakup, and by February, I had reached 92 pounds.
That's really the thinnest I've been since junior high school.
Unfortunately, I didn't maintain that weight for long. When I and my roommate traveled in May 2015, under their temptation and repeated persuasion, I broke my own flag.
I ate skewers and stayed up late eating and shopping in food streets all night, with milk tea, cream puffs, fried chicken and various high-calorie foods, I couldn't stop myself.
After that, I no longer controlled my diet and exercised less, and my weight gradually returned.
Later, it always hovered between 96-100 pounds.
When I was interning in Xiamen, I chatted with my classmates who were about to end their internship, and they all said they had generally gained about ten pounds. I was surprised, because the catering industry is so tiring, and the daily activity volume is so large, how could it get fatter?
And I declared that I would never be as fat as them.
To be honest, I just weighed myself, and I'm 107 pounds. I've returned to my starting point.
It was really embarrassing to have had it before.

Once, He Jie was heartbroken by her unedited photos and sought a slimming solution online.
It's said that He Jie's slimming experience is a microcosm of the skinny craze of young Chinese people. Starting from her participation in Super Girl in 2005, she has always been on the slimming road.
For slimming, she only ate cucumbers and tomatoes, even resorting to fasting, and didn't abstain from salt.

It's a big challenge because this weight was only achieved on the first day.
I really want to see if my face will become smaller after I get slim. For a round-faced girl, it's really scary to be fat, the whole face is meat, without corners, even Photoshop on Beauty Plus can't save it.
It's also for me not to be entangled with the size when buying clothes, not to P pictures when taking pictures, and to have a healthy body.
Because the slimming process will definitely sweat a lot, and abstain from junk food, eat more green food.
It's also to see how determined I can be, whether I can achieve self-discipline and control my desires, and whether my goals have the determination to achieve them.
So, I just gave away all the snacks in my dormitory, and I vowed that whoever shared my snacks with me would be my biggest enemy.

I hope to get slim and, more importantly, to maintain it after getting slim, not to rebound.
