Still Losing Weight by Eating Meat? Don't Be Silly, You Can Lose Weight Eating Meat Too
Scottish Jam Donuts
Hello fellow helpers, I'm Boss Ao!
Yesterday we talked about fitness, a helper asked Boss Ao if he gained weight recently. I didn't gain weight, although I didn't go to the gym to lift weights, I insisted on running, so there was no significant increase or decrease. However, someone might say, if you don't restrict your diet, and don't want to exercise, you're destined to get fatter. Is that really the case?
Actually, it's not necessarily like that. Today I'm introducing this recipe for Scottish Jam Donuts. You can eat them generously, and you'll actually get thinner. Don't scoff, this isn't a joke on April Fool's Day. Let me explain slowly. The reason this recipe is said to be slimming is because you first need to understand the ketogenic diet. When you only eat fats and proteins and don't consume carbohydrates, fats will be converted into ketones to provide energy for the body.
Of course, that's the theory. However, Boss Ao didn't actually follow a ketogenic diet because it requires strong willpower, and it would be difficult to distinguish between sticking to exercise and sticking to a diet. Once you eat a lot of fat and protein, if you can't hold out, the carbohydrates will be lost, and the meat will probably fly apart.

Ingredients
Eggs 4
Chicken Breast 180g
Salt 2g
Italian Seasoning
Black Pepper
Breadcrumbs
Process
1Boil water, then put the room temperature eggs in, cook for 5 minutes 30 seconds, immediately take them out when the time is up.

2Immediately put the eggs in cold water to cool them down.

3Wait for the eggs to cool to room temperature, then peel them off for use.

4Cut 180g chicken breast into meat puree.

5Then add appropriate Italian Seasoning and Black Pepper, and 2g Salt.

6Use your hands to continuously stir and knead the meat mixture until it becomes firm.
7Lay 45g meat mixture on a sheet of plastic wrap, slightly press it flat.

8Put a whole egg in the middle.

9Use plastic wrap to tightly wrap the meat mixture to shape it.

10Then coat it with Breadcrumbs.

11Heat the oil until 70% hot, then put the molded food into deep-frying.

12Fry for 2-3 minutes until the surface is golden brown, then take it out.

13Scottish Jam Donuts are ready.
TIPS
1Does egg size matter?
It does, because the time I gave is fixed. If the eggs are too big, the egg whites may not be fully cooked. If the eggs are too small, the yolks may already be cooked. The eggs I used are between 50-55g with shells.
2Besides egg size, what other factors affect the jam donut?
The temperature of the eggs before entering the water, the cooking time of the eggs, atmospheric pressure (altitude), and whether the eggs are quickly cooled after cooking will all affect the jam donut effect. So you must follow the recipe steps carefully.
3Besides chicken breast, can you use beef?
Of course you can, you can also use pork. But you must use lean meat, don't use fatty meat, otherwise it will shrink and crack when deep-fried, and it will deform.
4Can it be baked in an oven?
Honestly, if you're going to eat this stuff, you don't even care about deep-frying. Of course, if you insist on using an oven, it's not impossible, but firstly don't coat it with Breadcrumbs, then baking the jam donut in an oven will probably make it disappear. And because baking is slow, the meat will be tough. So overall, I don't recommend it.
Baking help, life should be a little sweet!
I'm Boss Ao, I love baking, marathons, and lifting weights. I've been making desserts for nine years, just like all baking enthusiasts, I never run into walls or turn back in this sweet pit. I hope that time is peaceful and sweet.
