Springtime Blossoms, White Egrets Dance in Huaiyang Longhu National Wetland Park
After the Zhenzhe period, the Huaiyang Longhu National Wetland Park is in its springtime glory, with the white egret family continuously increasing. In recent days, people can see flocks of white egrets dancing gracefully on the lotus viewing boardwalk in Huaiyang Longhu every day. The white egrets' elegant dance, their captivating figures, and their moments of fishing are showcased in a series of vivid scenes in photographers' lenses.
In recent years, with the continuous advancement of Huaiyang's ecological civilization construction, Huaiyang Longhu wetland has been effectively protected, and more and more birds are settling in the lake, becoming people's 'good neighbors'.



White Egret (scientific name: Little Egret, also known as Bai Luo, White Heron, White Feather Heron, Spring Plow, White Bird, a medium-sized wading bird belonging to the Heron family, White Egret genus). It is distributed in Central and Southern Asia, Southern Europe, Southern Africa and Australia. In China, it is mainly distributed south of the Yangtze River, with nesting in Sichuan, Yunnan, Guangdong, Taiwan and Hainan, and migratory birds in other areas. It generally resides in ponds, lakes and rice fields. Gathering in groups. Eats small animals and insects.
