Large Numbers of Migrating Swans Arrive in Bayinqur Lake, Xinjiang
CCTV News:Recently, a large number of migrating swans have arrived at Bayinqur Lake in Baqenbruck Prairie, Wulumuqi Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang.

According to reports, due to the location of Bayinqur Lake in the depths of the Tian Shan Mountains in Xinjiang, at an altitude of 2600 meters, the current lowest temperature remains around -16℃. After arriving at the lake, this flock of over 2000 swans can only forage and settle in a small part of the thawed area. At the same time, the local wildlife protection station staff are increasing their patrol efforts and providing artificial feeding to supplement the swans' food. According to reports, from mid-March to late April, over ten thousand swans will fly to Bayinqur Lake to breed and leave in October and November.
