Henan Self-Media Exploration Team Visits Seven Peaks Mountain, Unveiling the 'Sacred Land' of Henan!
On March 24th, the Henan self-media exploration team visited the Seven Peaks Mountain Scenic Area, appreciating the wonder of Seven Peaks Mountain, shooting the beauty of cliff-willow flowers, tasting Fangcheng delicacies, and traveling along the way, enjoying the beautiful scenery, taking an elevator, crossing a glass suspension bridge, and experiencing the 'Heart of the Summit,' which was both breathtaking and thrilling, leaving a lingering desire to return.
Seven Peaks Ecological Tourism Area is located in Yangjiatun Township, Fangcheng County, Nan Yang City, Henan Province, about 15 kilometers from Fangcheng District. Seven Peaks Mountain is also known as Seven Peaks Mountain, formerly known as Seven Stone Mountains, belonging to the southern slope of the Wulu Mountain, the upper reaches of the Huaihe River's Lijiang River, with a total area of 5100 hectares and a forest coverage rate of 76%. Wei Shu·Geographical Records states: 'Seven Peaks Mountain was formerly known as Seven Stone Mountains, because there are seven peaks standing tall, like a jar, hence the name. 'There are ancient Chu Great Walls on the mountain, known as 'The Father of the Great Wall,' which has been renowned both domestically and abroad, and is a major highlight for tourism. Seven Peaks Snowmelt and Spring River Waterfall are two of the eight traditional scenic landscapes of Fangcheng. The highest altitude is 760.4 meters, the total area is 5100 hectares, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction!

On September 22, 2015, the Seven Peaks Ecological Tourism Area in Fangcheng County was listed on the list of national 4A level tourist attractions. This is Fangcheng County's second time winning the national 4A designation in two years. The opening ceremony for the movie 'Journey to the West 2' will be held in the Seven Peaks Ecological Tourism Area in Fangcheng.
Seven Peaks Ecological Tourism Area is located in the southern foothills of the Wulu Mountains, approximately 105 square kilometers in radius, with steep peaks and precipitous cliffs, layered peaks and valleys, deep valleys and hidden caves, cascading waterfalls and flowing springs, with a beautiful and wondrous landscape. The main peak has an altitude of 760.3 meters and is the highest peak in Fangcheng County. The mountain summit and valley have exposed granite weathered rock walls or bedrock and rolling stones, forming a series of beautiful landscapes.

The scenic area spans the Yangtze River and Huaihe River basins, with a water system consisting of numerous mountain stream creeks, which are constantly flowing with good water quality, with significant water volume during the (flood season). Seven Peaks Mountain has a cold-water hot spring on its mountain summit and valley with a water temperature of 25℃. The scenic area has been designated as a provincial-level forest park. Seven Peaks Mountain's forest area has a total forest stock of 54,000 cubic meters, with a forest area of 3,550 hectares. The area belongs to the northern subtropical forest vegetation zone, with the main tree species including oil pine, toon pine, cedar, spruce, oak, chestnut, alder, ebony, hibiscus, wild hazelnut, maple, and willow, totaling 50 species of trees, and 30 species of shrubs, as well as 50 species of medicinal herbs such as black fungus, lily, mother-of-pearl, safflower, kudzu vine, and etc. The scenic area's unique climate, soil and terrain have created a distinctive plant survival environment, with a very diverse species. It has 50 species of medicinal herbs, dozens of wild fruits, truly a 'Worldly Natural Herb Wild Fruit Garden,' an ideal place for health and relaxation.
The number of cultivated and wild plants in the tourist area is abundant, with trees and shrubs dense on both sides of the river and hillside, with colorful flowers, with mixed forests and scattered woody shrubs and bizarre wild flowers, including alder, toon, hibiscus, shea, chestnut, hazelnut, ebony, etc., forming a beautiful picture. The animals in the forest such as wild pigs, wild rabbits, wild chickens, squirrels and other animals and butterflies and insects make the tourist area more lively and vibrant. The tourist area can be considered as the area's plant and animal gene bank. Seven Peaks Mountain's 'Chu Great Wall' is renowned throughout China and abroad, which is a major highlight for tourism, and combined with the overall ecological beautification, nature and culture are perfectly integrated. The scenic area is mainly based on natural tourism resources, with the Chu Great Wall culture and longevity culture construction as its inner content, and based on leisure and entertainment, health and relaxation, ecological protection, and a comprehensive mountain-valley tourism area with a high quality.
The scenic area is set against the backdrop of the Great Wulu Mountain, with the Chu Great Wall culture as its inner content, utilizing Seven Peaks Mountain viewing as its foundation, and leisure and vacation tourism as its theme, with ecological cultivation and green agriculture as supplements, and with comprehensive tourism service facilities as its construction focus, building a high-quality Seven Peaks Mountain Leisure and Vacation Resort.
