Golden Peak: Jinrao Mountain

Jinrao Mountain was once again organized by me for our team activity. This trip was also arranged to include other attractions. Indeed, it was a bit far, with three cars driving, and there were various things to attend to, no one had been before. As the organizer, I had to consider more, especially for the three-car group, because I couldn't let it happen that because of my 'inability', everyone would go down the wrong road, not have food or accommodation.

A trip like this is always joyful, especially when a bunch of people who work together for many years, like family, communicate and coordinate so easily. We can work together, enjoy travel, and have fun together.

We passed through several county towns, including Ninghua, Qiluo, Jianning, and Xinming. Before reaching Jinrao Mountain, we stopped at the five hundred Arhats at the entrance of Baoguo Temple. The aura was quite imposing.

The style of Mo Tzu was indeed magnificent.

Baoguo Temple, also known as Shangrao Temple or Rao Mountain Temple, is located at the foot of Jinrao Mountain in Jianning County, Fujian Province, and was first built during the reign of Liang Longde in 921. The building area is 1368 square meters.

The temple is located halfway up Jinbao Mountain, 10 kilometers southeast of Jianning County. It was first built in 923 during the reign of Emperor Longde of the Later Liang, initially known as Jinbao Temple. It was renamed Baoguo Temple during the Qing Dynasty. The temple has a perimeter wall and includes a hall, a main hall, meditation rooms, a hall for the Earth-Store Bodhisattva, and a hall for Avalokiteshvara, totaling 13 halls and 64 rooms. The main hall is the Tianwang Hall, and the main hall is the DaXiong Bao Dian, all with intricate roof structures and carved pillars, with walls adorned with murals. There is a 6-meter-tall Buddha statue of Shakyamuni, along with eighteen Arhats and 35 other Buddha statues. The original Baoguo Temple had eight scenic areas: White Lotus Pool, Red Peony Garden, Tiger Creek Bridge, Chang Cui, Long Lan , Tie Xian Mei, Cui Pu Jian, and Bai Yu Feng.

The season makes the area (scenery) in front generally green and unremarkable, not visually appealing, the scenery on the mountain doesn't stand out. The cable car scenery is different.

We bought some bread, rations, drinks, and mineral water at the scenic area's small shop, treating it as lunch, because after climbing the mountain, there was no place to eat, and after a long time, climbing and walking, some colleagues couldn't stand it, so we ate bread before taking the cable car,

To reach Jinrao Mountain, we need to use the cable car, and the cable car length is quite long, now I remember it seems to be several kilometers, I don't know if I misremember, from the bottom to the top, the cable car passed over several mountains until it reached the bottom of the tunnel. That day, when we arrived at the foot of the mountain, it was foggy, and the visibility was not high, we couldn't see the top of the mountain, nor could we see the middle, we could only see the sights in front of us. But as we reached the end of the cable car, the weather favored us, and the fog gradually dissipated, revealing the true face of Jinrao Mountain, which was worth the trip,

There's no way to take photos on the cable car, so the visibility is too low, you can't see the scenery. When we reach the end of the cable car, the smoke and mist dissipate, and the sky is beautiful.

To reach the summit, we need to pass through this tunnel, called 'Time Sleep Bag', the distance is about 770 meters. The tunnel is also quite unique. After exiting the tunnel, there is a 5-kilometer uphill trail, also called the Long Ridge Trail.
