My View of Spring: Quanzhou Binhai Park, Icelandic Begonias, Refreshing and Heartwarming
The park plants 250 species of seedlings and 73 species of trees, totaling approximately 30,807 plants. It offers evergreen scenery and flowers throughout the four seasons.
The park features three walking paths: a marine leisure boardwalk approximately 4200 meters long, with 11 seaside observation decks for visitors to enjoy the sea and relax; a 4500-meter bicycle lane; and a 2-meter-wide leisure pathway that runs through the entire park, providing a great place for visitors to exercise and enjoy themselves.

The Coastal Park is also part of North Binjiang Park (Quanzhou Waterline Promenade). From Haijing International to the end of the slow road, Coastal Park, this is a waterfront promenade featuring river views entering the sea. The sky suddenly opens up, and the scent of the sea rushes in. Humanistic attractions such as Wenximao and Meishan Wharf carry a strong historical atmosphere, making people unconsciously stop, a humanistic attraction, a natural scenic spot, and a waterfront promenade strung together to form a line.

As the breeze blows, the park's 'elves' stand tall and proud, adorned with vibrant and beautiful 'garments', elegant but not seductive, refreshing the heart. People flock here to admire the spring flower scenery.
These beautiful 'elves' are called 'Icelandic Begonias', a begonia species originating from the Arctic region. Their upright flower stems sway in the wind, and the thin, cicada-wing-like petals dance like skirts. They have a long blooming season, lasting from 30 to 45 days.

Meanwhile, the sea on one side is like a mirror, reflecting modern skyscrapers and cross-sea bridges; at the same time, it's a gateway to history, taking us through thousands of years of time, along with the past vicissitudes and brilliance, showcasing the splendor of 'Rising Sea in the Middle of Thousands of Nations' to the world.

Today, Quanzhou is a prosperous and understated seaport city. Although those ancient ports have gradually lost their former functions, it doesn't make people feel the passage of time, the white clouds and old age. It is still vibrant and beautiful, with dazzling lights and blooming colorful flowers.
Though distant history has passed, the legacy of the Maritime Silk Road still lingers here.
