Taiyuan Fen River Park
Fen River, the largest river in Shanxi Province, is the second largest tributary of the Yellow River, running from north to south through the center of Taiyuan City, and is known as the Mother River that nurtures the Three Jin region.
The Fen River has always been beautiful like a painting, and 'Fen River Late Crossing' was one of the 'Eight Scenic Views of Ancient Jinyang'. After long-term and vigorous governance of both banks of the Fen River, the Fen River Scenic Area has become a beautiful city card for Taiyuan.
The Fen River runs from north to south, dividing Taiyuan City into Hexi and Hedong, and the bridges across the Fen River have different and distinctive styles.
