Hiking Along Shenzhen's Most Beautiful Coastlines – Crossing West and East Rush
Xingchu (West and East Rush) is located on Dapeng Peninsula, Longgang District, Shenzhen, and is the classic and beginner-friendly hiking route for outdoor enthusiasts.
The coastline is about 6 kilometers long, with hiking mileage of 10 kilometers. It takes approximately 2-5 hours to cross from East Rush to West Rush.

A corner of the coastline
Half of it is a mountain path and half is a coastline. The road conditions are mainly mountainous and muddy, with many tropical plants and thorns along the way. Looking up, you see a vast expanse of blue sea and blue sky. As the saying goes, 'scenery along the way, thorns along the way,' this is perhaps a fitting description of the experience.

Rocky cliffs and the sea

The mountains traversed
During the coastline crossing, many of the roads involve climbing rocky walls or jumping across reefs, making you feel like Spider-Man. We went many times, and each time we returned with sore muscles, but thinking of that beautiful blue sea and blue sky, we felt happy and in pain. We still want to go again.

Many people choose Xingchu as their first experience of crossing a coastline because of three reasons: firstly, Xingchu's route is relatively mature, with a supply point for backup; secondly, the Xingchu route has a certain level of difficulty, which can quickly enhance outdoor skills; and thirdly, the scenery is truly breathtaking.
