Legends of Zhangye Danxia Picture Book
Besides its own charm, Zhangye Danxia also has legends about itself. Legend has it that one year, the Seven Fairies went to the Heavenly Kingdom to congratulate the Queen Mother on her birthday.

The Seven Fairies flew over the road to Qi Lien Mountain and arrived at Zhangye, seeing that here the vegetation was abundant, the sky was vast, blue skies and white clouds, and the people were simple and honest. They descended from the heavenly realm to take a stroll on earth.

Ancient Zhangye was a brilliant pearl on the Silk Road, a small Jiangnan in the wilderness. The streets were bustling with merchants, with abundant goods and fragrant fruits, making people linger and return. For several days, the fairies tasted delicious food, admired beautiful scenery, and wandered through the forest paths, and they had a great time!

One day, they suddenly remembered the approaching Queen Mother's birthday and hurriedly flew west. In a hurry, they dropped a rainbow-like seven-colored silk ribbon at the foot of Qi Lien Mountain, which turned into a colorful mountain, and remained in Zhangye.
