The Mojishan Scenic Area, a World Heritage Site, is located in the southwest of Hunan Province, within the territory of Xinning County, Shaoyang City. It covers an area of 128 square kilometers, with the core scenic area covering 66 square kilometers and a buffer zone covering 62 square kilometers. It includes six major scenic areas: Wanjiazhai, Tianyi Lane, Chili Pepper Peak, Zixia Dong, Fu Yi River and Tiensheng Bridge. It is one of the 800+ granite formations discovered in China and stands out with its beautiful scenery, complete development, comprehensive type, characteristic typicality, abundant biology and harmonious human-landscape. It is known as 'The Soul of Granite Peak, a Treasure of the Nation'.

On August 2, 2010, 'China Granite Peak' was successfully listed in the 'World Heritage List', which laid the 'North is Zhangjiajie, South is Granite Peak' tourism development new pattern in Hunan Province. The geological features of Granite Peak can be summarized as 'Magnificent, Strange, Dangerous, Beautiful, Mysterious, Vast, and Wild'. In the granite land area, it represents a rare large-scale 'granite geological museum', a Chinese granite geological protection and publicity exhibition model, and a source of inspiration for Chinese painting. In addition to the above, Xinning County also has Shunzhuang National Forest Park, Fu Yi River Wetland Park, National Stone Desert Park, High Mountain Ranch, High Mountain Lakes, Karst Landforms' Caves and Sky Pits and a thick humanistic history and abundant rural customs, all of which provide ample material for photography. Comprehensively collect photography reflecting the natural landscapes, human landscapes and the achievements of the times within Newning County, focusing on tourism throughout Newning County and the scenery of Granite Peak, particularly the four scenic areas of Wanjiazhai, Chili Pepper Peak, Eight Corners and Zixia Dong.

Exhibition Works Honor Setting and Reward
50 works will be exhibited, and the reward for each work is RMB 800.
All exhibited works will be awarded with honor certificates, which can be accumulated and applied for membership certificates according to the regulations of the China Photographers Association. The reward for exhibited works will be issued by the China Photography Press and deducted from the reward amount.

Submission Rules
1. All photographers are welcome to submit.
2. The creation time of the works is not limited, and recent works are encouraged. The submitted photographic works should be in color or black and white, group shots and past works in the 'Granite Peak Photography Competition' are not accepted.
3. The photographic works must be based on the Newning County area and indicate the specific shooting location. For works with uncertain shooting locations, the submitters should accompany the commissioned by the organizer lawyers to the shooting site to confirm the shooting location within the designated area; if it cannot be confirmed, the lawyers' fees and travel expenses will be borne by the submitters; if the submitters do not cooperate with the survey, the entry qualification of the works will be directly cancelled.
4. The organizer will provide a unified digital file of the works in large size (JPG format, the compressed file size should not be less than 5MB). The submitters must submit the large-size digital file (for film shots, please scan the negative) within the specified time, if overdue, it will be considered as automatic disqualification.
5. The exhibition implements a work publicity system, and the works that are tentatively entered will be publicly displayed on the official website of the exhibition – Qianhehui Net for 7 days, and during this period, it will be supervised by society. After the publicity period, the China Photography Press will publish the selected works, Qianhehui Net will publish the list of authors who have been entered, and the honorary certificates will be issued according to the China Photographers Association's regulations, and the membership certificates can be accumulated and applied for.
6. The organizer and executing units have the right to use the entered works in terms of copyright period, including reproduction, publication, exhibition, performance, information network transmission and compilation, and do not pay remuneration. They can also use the submitted works in promotional, publicity and exhibition activities, without paying remuneration.

7. It is prohibited to submit works by the judges and their close relatives of the exhibition. Once discovered, all qualifications will be cancelled.
8. The submitters must guarantee that they are the authors of the submitted works, and they have the independent, complete and clear copyright to the entire work and its constituent parts. The submitters must also guarantee that the submitted works do not infringe on the rights of third parties, including copyrights, portrait rights, reputation rights and privacy rights.
9. Any work that disrupts public order and good morals will be cancelled immediately. 'Works disrupting public order and good morals' include, but are not limited to, works that may mislead public cognition or have a fraudulent nature, all violating laws, ethics and public order or good customs.
10. If it does not meet the requirements of this submission notice, it cannot be selected; if it has been entered, it will be cancelled; the organizer has the right to reclaim remuneration, honor certificates and return storage media, and can report the matter in the media.
11. The exhibition does not charge registration fees, does not return rejected submissions, and does not return storage media. Any damage, loss or delay in the delivery or transmission of the submitted works will be borne by the submitters.
