Expected to Open by End of October! Phase II of Xinzhou Red Tourism Highway Resumes Construction
On March 31st, reporters visited the site of the Red Tourism Highway Phase II resumption construction and saw that the project construction was progressing in a tense and orderly manner.
The Red Tourism Highway Phase II project has now organized 40 people to work, strictly implementing epidemic prevention measures, including registration, temperature checks, and disinfection before commencing work. Construction is scheduled on a monthly and weekly basis, with an emphasis on accelerating progress while ensuring safety and quality, with a target completion date of October 31st.
The new section of the Dabie Mountains Red Tourism Highway, from Daoquan to Jiangshangshan in Xinshou District, Anhui Province, has a main line starting point located on the north side of Daoquan Scenic Area, approximately 200 meters south of the Xinshou Millstone Mountain Water Conservation Station, intersecting with the Wu Wu Line. It then crosses the Daoquan River, passes through Tongzi Gang, Youma Ling, and Luoshi Jiang, traversing north of Longyan Zhuang, then passes through Lizhaoyao, Taiping Temple, and the Huanggang border before continuing east to the terminus which connects with S241. The main line is 17.506km long.
The return line starts at the main line's Fuma intersection along the north slope of Longgangshan, heading west to Liuhe, following the south side of Zhou Tie River, then passes through Dongjia Hu, Safety Bay, and Chenjia Bay, and then passes north of Zhou Tie Village Committee before reaching the terminus which connects with the Wu Wu Line. The return line is 10.014km long.
The entire route (main line + return line) is 27.52km long. The project is designed according to a secondary highway standard, with a design speed of 40 kilometers per hour. The road base width is 8.5 meters, and the asphalt concrete road surface is 7 meters wide.
In the future, relevant construction units will organize construction rationally, increase investment, and actively address road surface moisture layers and black surface finishing, as well as conduct safety hazard detection and management control.
