Having You Is So Good

It's true that everyone has their own special skills, such as singing, dancing, running, cooking, storytelling… all kinds of 'arts' are good! To talk about my special skill, it's the guitar. When I'm happy, it accompanies me; when I'm bored, it helps me relieve boredom; when I'm frustrated, it comforts me… Every time the notes dance on my fingertips and emit beautiful sounds, it reminds me of all the times I've shared with it, and I can't help but feel emotional.

Six years ago, one day I was watching a program on television, when Wang Feng held a guitar on stage and played his guitar music and songs, I felt completely excited, it was so cool! I fell in love with the guitar, and since then we have formed an inseparable relationship.

Initially, learning the guitar was very simple, when I saw my fingers dance on the strings and emit beautiful sounds, I was very enthusiastic and wanted to immediately play a complete piece. But soon I tasted the bitterness of failure. As the difficulty of learning increased, the fingerings became more and more complex, and I was always in a hurry and couldn't keep up with the music, so I couldn't play a piece repeatedly. I felt that I didn't have musical talent, and playing and playing was a waste of time, so I started to deal with lessons and exercises, and soon I was discovered by the teacher. The teacher's expression became stern, and he scolded me loudly: 'If you can't persevere, don't even bother to learn!' I cried sadly, holding up my red fingers and showing them to the teacher: 'My fingers are sore, and I still can't play well, I don't suit playing the guitar!' The teacher smiled and stretched out both hands, and the thick calluses on his fingers were clearly visible. He said kindly: 'Without diligent study and hard work, how can you play beautiful music? It's the same with learning anything.' Then he took the guitar and demonstrated to me, his fingers were so flexible, and the music was so beautiful, I made a firm decision to persevere.

I practiced more than an hour every day, even if my hands were sore, I didn't rest, even if my fingers were blistered, I didn't give up. Finally, I could skillfully play a complete piece. I jumped up happily, it's true that hard work pays off!

Now the guitar has become my special skill. Don't underestimate it: When my mother is angry, it's my lifesaver, as soon as I play a piece of music, everything is 'calm and peaceful'; when my grandmother has a birthday, it's my best gift, and when I play a piece of music, my grandmother immediately smiles and tears flow; when friends gather, it's my most sincere blessing, and when I play a piece of music, the room is immediately peaceful and full of laughter… It's even more unbelievable that it's also a spiritual medicine, one time when I failed a math test because of carelessness and made my grade miss 'excellent', I slumped at home, depressed and restless, I picked up the guitar, and miraculously, the soothing music flowed from my fingertips, as I played, I gradually calmed down, and I remembered that it had taught me that no matter what you learn, you must work hard to achieve success!

The guitar not only brings me happiness and confidence, but it's also a weapon to hone my will. It teaches me the importance of hard work and perseverance. I believe that in my future growth, it will benefit me and make my life better!Teacher's Comments:
