Life's Feelings, Reflections, and Insights
What is happiness? Singing and dancing. Carnival, with singing and dancing as the main content; festival celebrations, with singing and dancing as the main content; entertainment venues, with singing and dancing as the main content. However, many singers and dancers are not happy, but rather have expressions of pain, desperate cries, and exhausted voices. And the audience below delights in it, rejoicing and encouraging. People's happiness is often built on the pain of others.

It should be forced, especially in terms of emotions, following feelings. Feelings are sometimes right, sometimes wrong, but when they are wrong, they should still follow feelings. This shows that people sometimes trust feelings and rely on feelings. Why don't we trust reason? Reason is more reliable than feelings! Sometimes people can't be rational, so there are mistakes, and there are foolish behaviors. It seems that in order not to feel so much, in order to be more rational, people give up feelings, thus becoming numb. But such a rationalism is rather cold. We still need to retain some feelings.
Looking at history, you will know what 'one general wins, ten thousand bones are broken.' A person's ability becomes greater, the harm and influence are also greater, and the influence is greater. People with ability are always hurting or influencing others.
Life is full of sorrow and pain, but for the sake of craving that little bit of happiness and expecting that little bit of happiness, we live carelessly and endure humiliation. We pursue life until death, and we die without regret. To save the suffering of the world, the Great Compassion and Great Mercy of the Buddha who came to rescue suffering and hardship, but no one has seen him. Perhaps he will only appear when the time comes, who knows? Gods and Buddhas are people's spiritual idols. Year after year, day after day, the suffering in the world has not decreased, it has not stopped, and people's pursuit is endless. Everything remains unchanged.
Some say that tolerance is great, and that non-desire is rigorous; others say that the four great elements are empty, without pain and without joy, even the six desires are extinguished. But if you starve for three days, is there still no pain?
Everyone pursues excellence, and everyone wants to stand out. When everyone surpasses each other and stands out, who stands out? When everyone is equal, that is the ideal state, but this is impossible, because this world is complex and unfair, and it is inherent. It's a cycle of change, and it always starts from scratch.
People sometimes become numb. In China, there is a dish called 'live monkey brain' – a monkey is fixed on a special table, the skull is opened, spices are inserted, and the monkey is eaten alive, without caring about the monkey's pain and struggles. There are other monkeys watching, naturally they are scared, but they also express relief, because they are not eaten. Next time someone catches a monkey, these monkeys will push out a fat and strong monkey, so that it won't be its own death. People are similar. During the Japanese invasion of China, when Japanese soldiers killed Chinese people, onlookers applauded, and some Chinese collaborators even pushed their own compatriots to death. Lu Xun therefore abandoned medicine and became a writer to change people's numbness. Another example is the movie 'General Hao', where the hero Hao killed the bandit leader Tie Dangan. The villagers were afraid that Hao would retaliate, so they guarded Hao day and night to prevent him from escaping. This is similar to how monkeys push out their own kind to avoid death. There are really some people who are numb.
The desert is always in my mind. Sometimes I think about the desert. Could I be destined to the desert? Thinking about it carefully, the desert is a broad desert, including love deserts, wealth deserts, and untapped deserts. And I myself am also a desert. The desert is desolate, the desert is vast, the desert is pure, the desert is ancient, the desert is lonely, the desert is mysterious.
My heart is in the desert, my soul is in the desert. The desert is called the 'sea of death,' so I am in a harsh environment? I am saddened by the desert and proud of the desert. It is not easy to live in the desert; few plants can grow there, only Hu and Soso can grow. So those who can live in the desert must be extraordinary. Can harsh environments really create people? I don't think I am a person, at most I am a small person.

If I wasn't a desert, I would yearn for the desert; if I were a desert, I would develop the desert. The wind blows fiercely, and the sun bakes, enduring.
Mill after mill, filtering sand, though arduous, it is not until the raging sand is blown away that gold is revealed. The desert's bottom not only has gold but also oil, natural gas, and coal. The surface is desolate, but the bottom is rich.
The eyes are on the present life, which is commonplace; the future is poetry and distance.
I am Xiang Mei Xiang, thank you for watching.
