Three Thousand Matters in the Human World, a Calm Smile

Human ability is not innate; it requires us to carve light through learning, forge it through practice, hone it in hardship, and grow from setbacks. Cultivate boundless ambition and concern for the common people; develop discerning vision to understand all things; and master skills to navigate life's complexities. The more we can encompass, the more we can bear; the farther our vision extends, the farther we can go; and the higher our overall, the higher our life will be.

Happiness in life comes from both striving and acceptance. Striving is not against others, but against hardship. Without earned happiness, determination and proactive efforts will lead you step by step towards it. Acceptance is not blindly following the flow, but finding peace after ceasing. Many things in life are limited by ability and conditions, and some things must be accepted with a sense of ease and grace. Striving leads to fewer regrets; acceptance leads to contentment. The greatest fear is not to strive when you should, or to stop striving when you should have.

Life should be cherished, life should be full of enthusiasm, and life should have a pursuit. Be content with success, and open to failure. Life's journey has both bumps and ripples, which lead to understanding, sunlight brings hope, and rain brings poetry. Amidst the myriad of human affairs, a calm smile can overcome all difficulties. Living simply is actually very easy; a wider perspective brings a broader sky; and a transparent heart brings spring blossoms.

The more you think, the more trouble you will encounter; if you don't think, there will be no trouble. The more you fear, the more people will take advantage of you; if you don't fear anything, no one will dare to bully you. This is how the world works; if you are too weak, others will take advantage of you. If you are assertive, people will come to flatter you. Don't always yield; when you are wronged, be brave and say 'No!'
