After discussing different workout styles with her husband (a former Navy SEAL), Miranda started searching online for Navy SEAL training. She immediately fell in love with this training method. After months of intense training, Miranda became increasingly stronger. Then, she started participating in CrossFit competitions, paving the way for other women in CrossFit.

In 2015, Miranda became a member of the top 3 champion team in California. Her team ranked third, showcasing her progress and passion for the sport from the beginning. However, two weeks after CrossFit competition, Miranda was seriously injured in a car accident.
Therefore, she lost all her competitions and realized she could be paralyzed at any time. But one thing prevented that from happening. During the two weeks in the hospital, the muscles in her neck saved her, and after surgery, she began to recover slowly. It took her a whole six months to undergo rehabilitation and physical therapy until she could exercise in the gym again.

Miranda is now living a healthy life, which further fueled her love for American CrossFit. After years of training, Miranda improved her weaknesses year after year and became a better version of herself.

Training
Like most CrossFit athletes, Miranda's training was intense, rigorous, and varied. For example, she performed compound Olympic lifting, weight training, rope climbs, and cardiovascular training. Nutrition
Miranda's past diet was very strict, but since she stopped competing and trained extensively, she had to adjust her diet. During the intense competition and training days, Miranda followed a regional diet, consisting of 2/3 protein, 1/3 fat, and a small amount of fat. She would eat most of her carbohydrates during training.
