Shaolin Tiger Palm: Rapid and Urgent Linked Attacks, Piercing and Blasting Attacks, Like a Tiger Descending from the Mountain, and a Hungry Tiger Catching a Sheep
Shaolin Hulunwuji, belonging to the category of Tiger Style Palm, according to the "Shaolin Palm Manual", it is originated in the Song Dynasty, created by Fu Ju Monk after gathering eighteen martial arts masters from all over the country for a performance at Shaolin Temple. Its characteristics are: bold and sudden attacks, rapid and urgent linked attacks, piercing and blasting attacks, or pulling and sweeping, and then following up with a palm and then a grasp. Observing its appearance, it is like a tiger descending from the mountain, and seeing its appearance, it is like a hungry tiger grabbing a sheep. Throughout, it highlighted the tiger’s power. The technique featured a special style of palm and claw strikes, hence the name "Tiger Palm."
All dynasties of Shaolin monks regarded this style as a rare set of techniques that were not to be passed on, unless it was a sincere disciple and friend of the master. This is why Yongxiang Master's mind was open, he understood Buddhist principles, and practiced it to guide others, so he presented the true techniques of the Shaolin Tiger Palm to the public, hoping that future generations would inherit the style and tradition.
