How to Correctly Understand Your Weight? (II)
Yesterday we discussed using BMI to calculate weight, today let's talk about a second way to understand weight, which isbody fat percentage— the percentage of body fat relative to your total body weight. You can use body composition analyzers and body fat scales to measure your body fat level.
As shown in the following figure.

Now that we know how to measure weight, do you know what the standards for body fat percentage are?
As we can see from the figure, the normal body fat percentage range for men is 10%-19.9%; for women, it's 15%-24.9%. Many people who look thin actually have a high body fat percentage and are considered latent obese; while some women have a large weight but low fat content, with more muscle, which looks healthy and upright. We need to scientifically understand our weight, and not just look at the surface weight while ignoring health.
