Basic Hand and Foot Positions

(1) Firm Fist:

Except for the thumb, all other fingers are curled, and the thumb is curled up and pressed against the third joints of the index and middle fingers. The palm is flat, and the force point is at the 1st and 2nd joints. (Fig. 13)

(2) Wrapped Fist:
