Mariana Mayakonda is a fitness model and IFBB athlete from Sweden. She is the 2015 Swedish Bodybuilding Champion. Training
To build a physique like hers, Mariana had to engage in a lot of heavy weight and intensity training in the gym. She didn't do much cardio or light exercise. Instead, she focused on multi-joint movements combined with heavy loads, forcing her muscles to grow. In short, she followed a rigorous plan to achieve her fitness goals.
Cardio to Reduce Abdominal Fat
Although Mariana's intense workouts alone burn a lot of calories, she also incorporated cardio twice a week to accelerate fat loss. Her favorite cardio activities include cycling, kettlebell training, and jumping rope.

Here's what Mariana did to build muscle and sculpt her legs:
- Barbell Squats, 5 sets of 5-8 reps
- Front Squats, 3 sets of 5-8 reps
- Leg Press, 3 sets of 8-12 reps
- Lunges, 3 sets of 10 steps
- Hamstring Curls, 3 sets of 8-12 reps

Nutrition
Due to her demanding training plan, Mariana allowed herself to eat a high-calorie diet. Most of her food contained a lot of healthy fats, as well as protein. Regarding carbohydrates, Mariana consumed them moderately. Most of them were consumed in the morning and after exercise.
Salmon, beef, chicken, avocados, peanuts, and olive oil were staples in Mariana's diet. In addition to these foods, Mariana ate plenty of vegetables, low-sugar fruits, and some complex carbohydrates to help her have enough energy throughout the day. As for supplements, she chose glutamine, L-carnitine, and fish oil capsules.
Almost every large meal, especially those containing a lot of meat and fat, Mariana made sure to consume enough vegetables. Mariana's favorite vegetables are cruciferous and dark leafy greens, such as broccoli, kale, or cauliflower.
