At 30°C constant temperature, it takes 20-30 days, and the longest can exceed three months. A female cockroach can reproduce nearly 10,000 offspring in a year, and the maximum can reach 100,000.

Cockroaches have chewing mouthparts and can eat anything. Sweet, smelly, hard, and soft. From ordinary food to shoe polish, it can eat everything. Electrical tape, cardboard, soap, paint flakes, leaves, textiles, leather, hair, and even bite a baby's skin and fingers. It also eats feces, sputum, and the bodies of small animals. Sometimes it even gnaws on the paste inside book spines. Entomologists found that 12 species of cockroaches can live for a week on paste.
Cockroaches have flat bodies, suitable for crawling into narrow holes and hiding. Small cockroaches can drill into gaps of 0.5mm. Adult male cockroaches can drill into gaps of 1.6mm. Female cockroaches with eggs need 4.5mm or two coin-thickness places to hide, especially in narrow and tight gaps, such as the space between furniture, is the habitat of cockroaches.
