A Stray Dog Cannot Be Feared; What's Scary Is That No One Takes Them In. Would You Take in a Stray Dog?

An American stray dog named 'Sanfo' who has been living on the streets, was 4 years old in April. Due to a car accident, it became paralyzed from the bottom and unable to walk, and its rear right leg was also shot, and was discovered by an animal protection organization and temporarily sent to a shelter for placement.

However, due to the noisy environment, filled with the calls of other dogs, and the pain of its body, Sanfo was depressed and unhappy, and it always leaned against the wall with a sad expression, as if it had lost the motivation to live, and had no attachment to the world.

At the age of over 10, Sanfo was sent to a Dallas shelter in Texas. After being in the shelter, there were too many dogs and resources were short, so it did not receive any treatment. According to local volunteers, Sanfo was unwilling to interact with people in the cage, and even gave up its will to survive, it remained quietly leaning against the wall, huddled in a corner.

It was as if it was waiting for the arrival of the moment of death. Until the appearance of 'Karen', a loving person, who took Sanfo home to take care of it and asked a veterinarian to treat it, which changed Sanfo's life. Karen said: 'This is my 52nd time taking in a stray dog. Before this, I had never seen such a happy dog.'

Since May 5th, when Sanfo was taken home from the hospital, it seemed to know that it had arrived in a safe place, and the originally suicidal Sanfo suddenly changed, becoming cheerful. Besides eating and sleeping, it was always smiling. In human age, it might be 95 years old, but its performance was like that of a child – innocent and cute.

Now Sanfo is living happily with Karen, but like Karen and other volunteers, they still hope to help it find a truly belonging home. Sanfo is a dog who is close to people, and it is also friendly to children. It is now just waiting for a loving opportunity. We all believe it will become a great family dog.

Sanfo will wag its tail to welcome its owner home, giving its owner the warmest companionship, and in its final life, it will also love and be loved. It is really thanks to Karen that Sanfo's life has rekindled hope. We wish it well in the future to have its own home, and to enjoy its final time of life happily.
