At around 2 pm on April 4th, residents of Huanghua Village, Changgui Town, Wujihe County discovered a cute little animal with a white head and reddish-brown body. According to local residents, the animal is called the cinnabar ferret, also known as the flying fox.

It is understood that the cinnabar ferret is a national level II protected animal, a rodent with a body shape similar to a squirrel, with a body length of 35-60 cm and a weight of about 2000 grams. It has a short and round head, large eyes with a chestnut-red eye ring, and a particularly large pupil that can sense the faint light, suitable for living in the dark world of underground burrows. The flying fox has flaps on its forelimbs that can extend to allow it to glide from one tree to another and then climb to the top of the tree for a second glide.
