Hot Bats: Fun Facts

Bats have been 'hot' recently, but do you know the relevant knowledge about them?
Bats are the second largest mammals in the world of nature, they are flying 'beasts', with many species and large numbers, widely distributed, with 900 species worldwide and 80 species in China.
Bats are social animals, they hide in uninhabited cliffs, cliff crevices, deep mountains, caves; abandoned buildings for many years, no one has stepped into the gaps or ceilings, they come out at night and never actively harass humans.
Bats can transmit pollen, scatter seeds, prey on various harmful flying insects. Each bat can eat about 1/3 of its own weight in mosquitoes, moths and other harmful flying insects in one night (about 3000 mosquitoes), maintaining the reproduction and growth of various plants, maintaining the balance and prosperity of nature.
Bat droppings can be used as agricultural fertilizer, and the Chinese medicine community extracts medicinal materials from the droppings of insectivorous bats, processing them into ‘Night Bright Sand’. As a relatively precious Chinese medicine, ‘Night Bright Sand’ has a hemostatic and brightening effect.
Humans extract anti-coagulation proteins from the saliva of blood-sucking bats, which have a good effect of dissolving thrombus.
The existence and unique functions of bats have had a certain impact on human progress. For example, humans imitated the echolocation system of bats to invent radar.
The body temperature of bats reaches 40℃, they carry thousands of viruses and are in a completely healthy state, and the strong function of their immune system is a valuable topic for humans to study.
Bats store thousands of viruses in their bodies and never bother humans, preventing the spread of diseases. However, some people, for the sake of profit, satisfy their private desires, hunt, sell and eat bats and other wild animals, ultimately leading to diseases entering from the mouth.
It is worth mentioning that China is a civilized country with traditional culture, and blessing is the wish of every family and every person, such as ‘Lucky Star High Bright’ ‘Five Blessings Arrive’, etc. ‘Bat’ in bat is the homonym of ‘blessing’, bat is a totem of ‘well-being’. Today, many ancient buildings still have bat imprints.
We warn those who are ignorant and uneducated and ignore the law: Stop it! Shut up! Obey the law and protect wild animals, maintain ecological balance, only in this way can we possibly maintain human health and safety.
