Why are Many Animals Male That Are Considered Beautiful?
In the human species, women are considered more beautiful, and men are considered taller, and we all aspire to approach them. This is mainly because there is absolute competitiveness in sexual selection. In fact, after entering modern society, this gender difference is somewhat smaller than in the distant past. In modern society, the mutual preference between men and women is not just based on physique and appearance as a reference, but more on talent and wealth to enhance competitiveness.
Survival competition is embodied in the aspect of biological reproduction and mating. Any species strives to incorporate as many female entities as possible into the breeding queue, followed by letting male animals compete with each other to eliminate weaker males. However, for large mammals, males are generally stronger. For example, lions on the African savanna are the only social cats. To become a lion king, a male lion must pass a series of tests, at least this male lion must be able to PK with others, not all male lions have the opportunity to become lion kings.
