Spring in Xing’an, Songs of Life
Spring in Xing'an, Songs of LifeIn March, the small Xing'an Mountains, with a gentle spring breeze, melting ice and snow. At this vibrant season, as an important stopover for bird migration, the Wangwan River basin has seen migratory birds returning earlier than in previous years. Chinese khaki ducks, black-crowned night herons, white herons, Canadian geese, white storks, green-headed ducks, and green wing ducks, dozens of migratory birds have arrived in succession. These adorable creatures of nature, singing on the mountains, playing in the ice rivers, awakened the magnificent forest of early spring. In recent days, some bird photography enthusiasts have been getting up early and staying up late, climbing on ice and snow, using lenses to record these beautiful and dynamic figures.
