Voices of Life: Important Considerations for Stray Animal Rescue
1 Stray animals may become fearful of humans due to lack of care and may defend or attack instinctively when captured. Before capturing a stray animal, communicate with it, use smiles and language, and offer food to eliminate its fear.Do not directly touch with bare hands to prevent it from suddenly biting or scratching, or other skin disease infections. Try to use paper or clothing to touch the stray animal.2 If you have skin wounds on your hands, do not directly contact the stray animal to avoid infection. After contact with a stray animal, disinfect the contact area and clothing.
If you have skin wounds when rescuing, first rinse with water, then use alcohol to disinfect, and finally use iodine to promote the healing of the wound.3 Encountering road traffic small animals: Do not pick up, move to the roadside, use cloth to lift, send to the hospital, when encountering aggressive small animals, use a wooden stick to push it to the roadside. For animals that are pressed but have no external injuries, observe whether they can normally defecate and urinate within 24 hours. If they cannot, it indicates that the internal organs have ruptured, and you should promptly seek medical treatment.Let the voice of life ring,
