Guangrao Black-shouldered Kite Rescue and Release
At 9:00 AM on February 20th, a villager in Duanjia Village, Liziqing Town, Guangrao County, discovered a bird unable to fly normally under a pile of wooden boards. Due to concern about its injury, the county's Forestry Development Service Center was immediately contacted.

Upon receiving the notification, forestry enforcement personnel from the county rushed to the scene to provide assistance. After confirmation by county wild animal experts, the bird was identified as a Black-shouldered Kite, a medium-sized raptor in the hawk family and a nationally protected species listed in the 'World Conservation Union' Red List. The experts determined that the bird had no obvious injuries or poisoning symptoms, and it is estimated to be trapped due to foraging.
Thanks to the careful feeding and observation of the staff, the Black-shouldered Kite's condition has fully recovered, and with the consent of the wild animal experts, county forestry enforcement personnel immediately released it back into nature.
In recent years, Guangrao County has continuously increased its efforts to promote and protect wild animals, and the public's awareness and legal consciousness of loving and protecting birds are constantly increasing. The whole county has become a model of loving and protecting wild animals and consciously protecting wild animals.
