Reporter He Ruiyi / Interview Report

'My little hamster chewed my ring's real diamond! Will it spit it out, or will it come out with the poop?' Breeder Ruby Cheng rushed to the internet this day for help, because her 3-month-old golden hamster Jingle chewed the diamond while she wasn't paying attention, making her very worried. Fortunately, the little hamster has a 'treasure storage' habit, and the ending was surprisingly relieved.

Ruby Cheng said, 'That night, when she was holding Jingle while watching TV, she felt it was chewing on the ring, but didn't pay much attention, just continued to focus on watching TV, until she heard a sound of something breaking, and then she looked carefully, only to find Jingle holding the diamond in its mouth and chewing on it. She quickly reached out to try and pry the diamond open, but the hamster quickly stuffed the thing into its mouth.'

Ruby Cheng frankly admitted, 'I thought to myself, 'Money is flying away,' but then I was more worried about Jingle swallowing the diamond, which could hurt it.' 'Therefore, I rushed to the community to ask if there were any methods for hamsters who had ingested diamonds, very afraid that it would swallow it.' Fortunately, after two hours, she found the shiny little thing in the hamster's nest, it turned out that the cute Jingle had stored the diamond and its food together.

The netizens who were originally worried heard the good news and finally let go of their anxiety, and then commented one after another jokingly, 'A discerning hamster,' 'The cutest diamond thief in history,' 'Hamster: Originally wanted to sell her mother's diamond to buy melon seeds, but failed,' 'You're a very expensive hamster,' 'Next time buy a bigger one, the hamster won't be able to swallow it.'

※ Pet Cloud Reminds You: When owners play with toys, owners should pay attention to them, to avoid pets accidentally swallowing foreign objects, which can cause injury to the stomach and intestinal blockage, or even death. Once you discover that the pet is chewing on food, you must take it to the doctor and closely monitor its body condition and subsequent discharge.
