Recently, scientists discovered the smallest dinosaur ever found in Burmese Cretaceous amber. Researchers have named it 'Oculudentavis khaungraae'.
According to The Sun on November 11th, this dinosaur's head was smaller than a blackberry, completely encased in amber. Its details were also preserved intact by the amber, allowing researchers to effectively use 3D technology to reconstruct its original structure.

The report states that this dinosaur lived approximately 100 million years ago and was only 2 inches long and weighed less than 1 ounce (approximately 28 grams), about the size of a hummingbird. It had large eyes to adapt to sunlight. In addition, this dinosaur had dense teeth, about 100 of them. This suggests that it may have preyed on insects.

'It's as if it just died yesterday.' Researchers exclaimed, 'This is a very unusual situation, as there are no such creatures alive today.' It is understood that this discovery will help researchers further explore how birds evolved from dinosaurs.
