I had occasionally seen a few photos of hundreds of rhododendrons online

I always admired it but then quickly forgot about it

I thought it might be a specific spot or a foreign-made creation

It's a landscape that's not easily accessible or commonly enjoyed

After experiencing hundreds of rhododendrons, I truly felt shocked and amazed by its vastness and beauty

Seeing the rhododendrons spread across the mountains, I felt utterly lost and bewildered, not knowing where to start taking pictures

I muttered to myself that there were still such high-altitude rhododendrons in the world

What kind of mountains and landscapes could gather so elegant and arrogant, beautiful flowers?

I still remember the legends about high-altitude rhododendrons

Because it's recognized as the most beautiful flower, it's proud and arrogant, so it doesn't often appear in flower rankings. Instead, the peony is crowned as the king of flowers



When the competition of flowers is over, it still doesn't appear. So the peony is crowned as the king of flowers

Arriving at the competition site where the rhododendrons have no one left, because of shame and anger, they ran up the mountain and never came down. From then on, they never came down

No matter the wind and snow, as long as the season arrives, they bloom on time

In all their forms and colors, in a myriad of vibrant hues, they stand tall and brilliant

In the Tibetan and Gansu provinces, I've seen high-altitude rhododendrons at elevations of over 2,000 meters

They often coexist with snow and ice, enduring wind and rain

The plants aren't very tall, with evergreen leaves

In spring and early summer, they bloom sequentially from lower to higher elevations, standing proudly on the mountains

This also allows us to feel the beauty and aloofness in the legends

However, here the altitude is less than 2,000 meters

Yet, they are so concentrated and towering

And the rhododendrons spread across the mountains in a wild and unrestrained way



It's as if we've descended from the mountain and entered a flower feast

Gathering and storing energy for a season, they completely unleash it

In countless forms and colors, they present their most beautiful selves

Here, the high-altitude rhododendrons not only have many flowers and lush foliage, but each flower is very large

There's no pollution, and they shine brilliantly in the sunlight

Each flower has countless forms and colors

That's a beauty that humans can never simulate or copy

Looking up, under the blue sky and white clouds

Hundreds of rhododendrons are not ostentatious; they conceal their colors

They blend into the mountains, becoming part of nature

Although the rhododendron forest is concentrated and dense

Each spot is almost composed of different colored flowers

Looking up, we can always see various branches and flowers of different colors

Beautiful and not monotonous

Because it's a scenic area, there are artificial paths built, small roads, and winding paths leading to flowers

The winding path leads to flowers, quiet and beautiful

Rhododendrons spread across the mountains

They are drowned by countless flowers

They become a lone leaf drifting in the vast ocean

The noise and chaos are gone

The flowers are blooming in the mountains, and people lose their direction

Mechanically walking around and taking pictures without a purpose

Ultimately, I got lost in the hundreds of rhododendrons

Hundreds of rhododendrons, the most beautiful encounter in life

No matter how busy you are, you hope to bring your love and take a stroll among the flowers, pursuing a life full of beauty and brilliance
