Congliu Nut Grove Scenic Area
Congliu Nut Valley is located in the deep forests of the northwest of the Congliu County of Ili River Valley, Xinjiang. It is a mountain valley surrounded by high mountains on three sides and open westward, which can resist the dry and hot weather from the east, west and south, and also resist the cold climate from the north, while also accepting the moist climate from the west. This has formed a natural environment condition different from the desert and favorable for the growth of grassland and forest trees. The Congliu Wild Walnut Nature Reserve covers an area of 1180 hectares, here grow thousands of wild walnut trees, with an age of over one hundred years. Wild walnuts are valuable and ancient tree species, currently only existing in the Ili Valley within China. The wild walnut grove nature reserve has unique ecological landscapes, with dense grass and fresh, humid air, and various rare flowers, fruits and medicinal herbs are abundant throughout the valley, which is known as a natural herb garden. The plant species in the nature reserve include: pure wild walnut forest, wild apple and wild apricot mixed with wild walnut forests, wild walnut and European mountain birch mixed forests, and European mountain birch pure forests, etc.
Kurdyn Scenic Area
Kurdyn grassland is located in the southeast mountains of Congliu County, Ili River Valley, Xinjiang, within the Western Tian Shan National Nature Reserve. Kurdyn Scenic Area is also the most prosperous and dense forest area of the Tian Shan Mountains. It possesses a rare world unit timber volume of cedar forest resources, complete primitive forest types and vegetation are the most typical representative of the entire Tian Shan forest ecosystem. Here the cedar species are complete, with abundant wild animals. Kurdyn grassland is bordered by mountains and water, surrounded by continuous mountains, the flowing water in the stream is continuous, surrounded by green grass, overlooking the distant snow mountains, the scenery is breathtaking. Kurdyn grassland is a relatively small and niche tourist spot, but it has its unique beauty that can make you intoxicated. Kurdyn grassland is not as vast as Bayinqollo grassland, nor as rugged as Karasu grassland, but it is beautiful and exquisite, like being in a paradise.
Bayinqollo
Bayinqollo is located in the Bayinqollo District of the Ili River Basin, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and Jinghe County, Northwest. It is known as Bayinqollo grassland, located in the Yulu River Basin. Bayinqollo grassland has a flat terrain, abundant grass and water, it is a typical herbaceous meadow grassland. The grassland is covered with lush green grass, with herds of cattle and sheep, surrounded by mountains embracing, rivers like belts, the terrain is undulating and vast, with a diverse range of plant species and excellent natural ecology.
