In recent years, I've basically traveled all over China, and many people ask me if I was seeing beautiful scenery? Actually, I wasn't, I enjoy experiencing different local customs because I think this is where the long-lasting culture comes from. Compared to foreign countries, our culture, due to regional differences, has a wide variety of differences, but they are always able to give people a comfortable acceptance, and gradually deepen our love for our own country. But some foreign cultural customs are a little hard to accept
Foreign customs are often beyond our imagination, some even subvert our three views. In the customs I've heard, one particularly made me unbearable. It is said that during a local festival, men can freely embrace women, as long as they look good and feel like they want to marry them, a simple embrace can declare their ownership, and those girls not only didn't feel uncomfortable but also rejoiced because of this custom. I really can't agree with this, I think women's status there is too low, and they themselves don't feel any discomfort
However, when it comes to the most disgusting, it has to be India's sunrise bathing. The place where this custom is held is called the sacred Ganges River by locals, but when standing by the shore, we can see all kinds of trash floating on the river surface, the turbid water emits a smell like excretion, more seriously, some people even saw corpses floating in the river, which is really scary, even during the daytime, no one would dare to be in the river with the corpses, this leaves a shadow that is not ordinary, ask yourself, would you want to soak for a minute in this water? Most people would choose to refuse
However, the locals don't think the water is dirty, but rather think that people with pure hearts can use it, and some people openly use the water to wash clothes. Locals always think this is perfectly normal, but for outsiders, seeing such a scene is already great, it's amazing.
