Not Only Moscow and St. Petersburg, the Black Sea Peninsula of Russia Holds Unique Landscapes

When arriving at Sevastopol in Crimea, the weather wasn't good, it rained a little, and after a while the sky cleared up, becoming very bright. Just like the city of Sevastopol, it looked extremely mild. My companions and I always thought Sevastopol was very suitable for retirement, not frequented by foreign tourists.

This is also a famous place for the Black Sea Fleet in Russia. Standing on the beach and watching the cruising ships, the exhaust fumes were very heavy, and we quickly moved away.

Kersonissov might be the most famous tourist destination in Sevastopol and the Crimea region, it was early included in the World Heritage Site, and it is an ancient Greek colony. This ancient city is located on the Black Sea coast and was once Ukraine, now it is in the Sevastopol suburb of the Crimea Peninsula, Russia, so there are many patriotic student groups coming here to study historical knowledge.

The most distinctive feature of Kersonissov Scenic Area is the Kersonissov Clock. The former Ukrainian President and Putin had a friendly chat here, and one photo was taken under this large clock. Many local student groups would take photos here to commemorate.

Sevastopol has witnessed many battles, so you can often see many war-related historical sites here, such as the Shipwreck Memorial, which is a symbol of the city of Sevastopol. The memorial was built in 1905. During the Russo-Turkish War, Sevastopol was besieged for 50 years, and many warships of the Black Sea Fleet were destroyed, most of which were part of the Black Sea Fleet.

On the seaside boulevard of Sevastopol, various people were sitting on the adjacent seats, some were chatting, some were quietly sitting and enjoying the beautiful sunshine.

Next to the Shipwreck Memorial Square, lively young boys were constantly chasing pigeons, making the pigeons fly around nervously.

There is also a more famous tourist destination hidden in Crimea, that is Yalta. It is well-known to Chinese people because of the Yalta Conference. Although the history is a bit painful, when you travel to Yalta now, you will find that it is just as suitable for retirement as Sevastopol, the only difference is that Sevastopol is very quiet, and Yalta is bustling all day and night. I prefer Yalta in this respect, it gives a sense of a happy city.

Yalta has many street performers who play guitars or wind instruments leisurely, and passers-by will sometimes throw coins and smile. After each song, the surrounding tourists will applaud.

I met an old man in Yalta, which was very interesting. He smiled at me, finished singing and shook hands with me, asked me where I was from, and was very friendly. Strangely, I didn't see him with a money box next to him, as if he was singing for everyone to enjoy.

Passing through the park, a group of young girls were watching us strange foreigners, and they would emit silver bell-like laughter from time to time. Next to them, a father and son were teaching their dog how to walk, and the little boy stood silently and listened to his father, as if he was telling him a life philosophy.

Yalta has more attractions worth visiting than Sevastopol, for example, if you like climbing mountains, you can go to Peter Mountain to enjoy the scenery of the Black Sea mountains and seas; if you like to check in historical sites, then Swallow's Nest, Livadia Palace, Vorontsov Palace and other cultural attractions are worth exploring; if you like wine, then the Masandrela Palace's wine exploration tour is also a must-do.

The little horse spent a relatively short time traveling in the Crimea Peninsula, and the places he visited were only Yalta and Sevastopol, but here he gave me a different Russian flavor.
