In recent years, Shizhou County has vigorously developed health and wellness culture and tourism, actively integrated into the Chengdu-Chongqing Greater Bay Area and the Wuling Mountain Area Cultural and Tourism Integration Development Demonstration Zone, seized the opportunities of 'one zone, two groups' development, and fully promoted the tourism industry to move towards higher quality and level, creating a national health and wellness ecological leisure tourism destination.
On March 23rd, reporters visited the Wanshishan Scenic Area and saw workers diligently constructing the newly added aviation camping base. The scene was busy and orderly, with all work progressing smoothly. Wanshishan Scenic Area's spokesperson Yuan Quan told reporters: 'This base is themed around general aviation, integrating aviation science popularization education, leisure, camping, and low-altitude helicopter flights. The project's infrastructure is basically complete, and we are currently working overtime to construct it. We expect it to be officially completed and open to the public in July.'
Shizhou Wanshishan Scenic Area is a historical and cultural scenic area with the Ming Dynasty General Qin Liangyu's Fortress as the main battlefield. It is located at an altitude of 1200-1500 meters, with jagged peaks and perilous terrain, and has a good ecological environment and beautiful scenery in all four seasons. It is one of Shizhou's key tourist attractions. Reporters learned that this year, the scenic area will also build a new cableway from the highway service area directly to the scenic area to create a Qin Liangyu expansion camping experience project, further enhancing the scenic area's overall service capabilities. Just like Wanshishan Scenic Area, currently there are 10 scenic areas in Shizhou undergoing optimization and upgrading, which will bring tourists a safe, comfortable, and satisfying tourism environment.
