Quarantine Ends, 6 Escaped Ticket Holders Enter 5A-Level Shandong Scenic Area, Smoking and Fire Cause Forest Fire
Recently, the Qingdao Laoshan Public Security Bureau reported a case of illegal intrusion and wildfire caused, arresting 6 suspects on the spot.
At 13:30 on March 22nd, the Laoshan Public Security Command Center received an alarm about a wildfire near Yangkou, and immediately instructed Laoshan Scenic Area's Urban Management Brigade to organize police officers to the scene to extinguish the fire and rescue, and simultaneously arrested Li Mou and other 6 suspects (3 men and 3 women) involved in causing the wildfire.

After on-site interrogation, the illegal perpetrators Li Mou and others confessed to the illegal act of causing the wildfire. They reported that they came from outside the province and arrived in Laoshan Scenic Area (a 5A-level scenic area) on March 22nd after completing their quarantine in Jimo. They arrived at Yangkou at around 13:00 to visit the scenic area to avoid tickets, and the 6 people climbed over the firebreak fence and entered the fire-restricted area. While resting at Wangge Zhuang Street Qijia Zhuang Community West Mountain, Li Mou and his friends started a forest fire due to smoking, with a burned area of 80 square meters. Fortunately, it was extinguished in time.
Laoshan Public Security Police Department legally punished Li Mou (male, 36 years old) with an administrative detention of 10 days, gave warnings and punishments to 4 of the suspects according to the law, and gave the remaining one a verbal warning due to being underage.
