People enjoy mountains, and wise people enjoy water. The masses love mountains and rivers.
Due to a trip to Pizhou Eshan Scenic Area in Jiangsu Province, Pizhou County, Tiefu Town, the scenic area is located within the borders of Jiangsu Province, alongside Huaguo Mountain and Yunlong Mountain, collectively known as 'Jianghu Three Major Mountains'. Eshan is not very high, with an altitude of only 197 meters. Historically, there was a saying that 'It's the summit of the country, like Mount Tai; it's Eshan, the summit of Pizhou''. It is said that Eshan was once the 'national defense' mountain of the ancient Xu Kingdom, where the 'E' character tripod was cast. Legend also tells of a divine 'E' that appeared every sixty years. Local people, seeking good fortune and blessings, named it Eshan.
In spring, Eshan is filled with pink peach blossoms, red willows, and lush green foliage. Within the scenic area, cherry blossom avenues are covered in pink blossoms fluttering in the air, while groups of yellow honeysuckle flowers bloom on the lakeside, and delicate pink begonias dance in the wind. As a historical and cultural name mountain with deep roots, the legend of Shaolin Temple's sub-temple – Tiefo Temple, inspires awe. By the Shengshui Lake, a group of (Nanhai Guan Yin) sculptures silently narrate the pursuit of Buddhism. The wind chimes on the adjacent pagoda ring out, inviting visitors to explore.
During this special period, I was confined at home for over a month, leading to deep reflection, particularly as a tourism professional. The Spring Festival losses were significant, and I even considered studying philosophy!
